What is AudioShake Indie?

AudioShake Indie lets independent artists, producers, and labels upload any track and separate it into vocals, drums, bass, and other instrument stems. Upload from your device, Dropbox, or Google Drive in MP3, WAV, FLAC, AIFF, M4A, or MP4. Outputs at 44.1 kHz with bit depth matching your input file, including 24-bit and 32-bit support.

Help! My song was blocked when I uploaded it.

AudioShake Indie is for independent artists, producers, and labels who want to create stems for their own songs. If we believe you are uploading a song that doesn't belong to you, you may be blocked. If we've blocked a song you own the rights to, contact us and we'll work with you to get your stems.

Who owns the rights to the stems I create with your technology?

You retain all the rights to your songs, and that includes your stems: it is your music you are uploading, so the stems are yours.

How does AudioShake's technology work?

AudioShake uses A.I. to recognize different components in a piece of audio—for example, the drums in a rock song. We then isolate that stem so you can use it for new purposes—sampling, sync licensing, remastering, remixes, and more.

I split apart my song and it doesn't sound very good.

This can happen, particularly on genres we have yet to focus on. Try another song or come back later when the technology has improved. You can always listen to a sample first to make sure you're happy with the quality before paying.
