Sign up and upload documents immediately via drag-and-drop or the upload button — no configuration required. Uploaded files start in draft status so you can edit, move, or delete them freely. To archive properly, assign a category, fill in metadata, and move documents from draft to archived status with retention protection. On first login, a setup wizard asks what type of user you are and what documents you manage, then creates categories, metadata fields, and retention periods in one step.
